Matt’s plan to protect the New Hampshire Advantage!
Matt is a member of the House Liberty Caucus, Emerging Technologies Caucus, Vaccine Injury Caucus, and Pro-Life Caucus. He sits on the House Science, Technology, and Energy Committee as well at the Criminal Justice & Public Safety Committee.
Issues:
Science, Technology, & Energy Policy – A Wind-Free Gulf of Maine, A Nuclear NH
Every energy source is worth considering in the 21st century, but I oppose the industrialization of the Gulf of Maine, especially the inefficient offshore wind lease that threatens the natural aquatic environment. $10,000,000/mile for cabling for 30-50% efficient power while chlorinating 8.1 Million Gallons of Seawater/Day is not America First, not New Hampshire First, nor is it green. I support the exploration of small modular nuclear technology as well as off-grid producers. I oppose geoengineering the climate.
Food Freedom – At Sea & Ashore
If you don’t know how to grow your own food and catch your own fish, you’re impoverished and dependent on those who do. Overregulation of American fisheries will impede the ability of the next generation to feed themselves for life. A localized logistics network is necessary to make it through the next pandemic. We as a country cannot afford to lose our commercial fishing skillset and billionaires buying up acres of farmland does not give me confidence for the future. The Gulf of Maine is much more viable as a food source rather than an energy source. Let’s bring our fleet back. In other agricultural non-food concerns, I support home grow & decriminalization of cannabis.
Family Court & Pro-Life Issues:
I will continue to support the formation of a House Special Investigative Committee, with full subpoena power for the investigation of abuse at Family Court and DCYF. Please sign the petition. I support restoring the primacy of marriage and family and intergenerational wealth and care as the foundational unit of the polity – because family is the origin of what we have in common, and the purpose of that thing we call society. And without that commonality – we have nothing in common in a polity. I oppose MAID and understand that life begins at conception. It is inconclusive how popular the current abortion law is in NH.
Immigration & Non-Reciprocal International Influence:
We can no longer ignore the victims of illegal immigrant violence. Access to American culture is not a human right. The national territory is the property of the nation and our nations borders must be enforced. Otherwise, every state becomes a border state and a country that does not enforce it’s borders is no longer a country. If someone aides a foreign power to invade their own nation, this is called treason, so why do we tolerate those who endorse and facilitate mass immigration? I support the repatriation of illegal immigrants in the United States to their homelands, as well as an immigration moratorium. I strongly oppose the licensure of illegal immigrants as well as sanctuary cities, and I support our Northern Border Alliance. I oppose UN Agenda 2030 and the selling of land to the Chinese and will refuse any offers of AIPAC funding.
Federalism
You live in a neighborhood. State & Local politics matters just as much, if not more than federal decision-making. It’s time to De-Politicize, Professionalize, and Shrink the Continental Government to it’s original purpose of Defense, Guarantee of a Republican Government and Rule of Law by Natural Law, Insurance, Trade Policy, and Resolution of Disputes between the States. Having previously advocated for self-determination and state sovereignty, I believe that Nullification and Interposition are the best tactics for enforcing federalism between D.C. and the states when disputes arise. I am a member of the Tenth Amendment Center as well as the John Birch Society & support Defend the Guard. I oppose the draft and generally oppose an Article V Convention of States, but believe it’s still a worthwhile debate.
Self Defense & Firearms:
The West is defined by the Militia of Sovereign Men. New Hampshire has been ranked as the #1 firearms friendly state. Let’s keep it that way. I oppose any attempt at gun control and Red Flag Laws. The stewardship of the 2nd Amendment, as well as the entire Bill of Rights – is not a negotiation. I have received ratings of A(q) with the NRA and A*S from NH Firearms Coalition.
Education & Empowering Parental Rights
Actual quote is from Sir William Francis Butler in Charles George Gordon
The innocence of children must be protected at school and I believe that parents are the ultimate arbiters of the type of education their children should receive, whether it be public, private, or homeschool. I was once a public school substitute teacher and believe that adherence to a one-size-fits-all educational system hampers student performance & growth. We still don’t know the long terms effects the shutdowns had on students. I support the expansion of Education Freedom Accounts & School Choice and I oppose mask mandates in schools and boys playing in girls’ sports. I believe a quality primary & secondary education should concentrate on promoting the academic achievement and personal responsibility of students by training the whole person in physical fitness, mindfulness, manners, ethics, and basic life skills including basic finance, contracts, family, economics and business, so that we are all prepared for the current world.
Grow Jobs & the Economy, Lower Taxes & Spending
I will oppose any attempt at a sales, income, or a re-introduction of the Interest & Dividends Tax. I will work to optimize existing government bodies and cut unnecessary government spending. I support the right to work, lowering the Business Enterprise Tax (BET), and eliminating medical exclusionary zones and the legalization of direct-pay medical facilities.
Inflation is a form of taxation & we must enact comprehensive economic, financial, retirement reforms restoring the emphasis of policy and economy to the interests of the laboring, working, middle, and upper middle classes and ending predatory disparities in returns on citizenship. In the long term, I support sound money, cryptocurrency and precious metals, as well as a public bank for NH and believe that the Federal Reserve should be subsumed into the U.S. Treasury. I oppose Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC). I have received a “Gold” score from Granite State Taxpayers.
Zoning/Housing
I support a review and/or update of our Beach District’s evacuation plans around 286. I sit as an alternate of the Seabrook planning board, and I support local control of zoning.
